“He’s a nasty guy. Nobody likes him. Nobody in Congress likes him. Nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him.” That’s the Donald talkin’ about Ted Cruz (listen). Everyone knew Cruz was just using Trump to boost his own popularity until he got a chance to take his place.  “Nobody likes him,” and the Republicans would suffer “cataclysmic” losses if they ran him for president. That’s Bob Dole, 1996 Republican presidential candidate, talkin’ about Ted Cruz.

If Cruz is nominated, The Hill says “he may be the most hated Republican to ever lead his party’s ticket.” The Republican party is so polarized it seems ready to explode. What they’ve been doing to the country,  they’re now doing to themselves.
