You read it first here. The 2016 Republican ticket will be Jeb and Carly. No, the GOP establishment is not going to listen to its base. Not after Ted Cruz said they were all slaves to K-Street lobbyists.
Fox News just took out Trump and and pumped up Fiorina. She’s not part of the political establishment (though she once tried to be) but she is part of the corporate establishment and that’s who lobbies Congress. So no chance of her pulling a Ted Cruz! Also she chewed up Trump who now says listening to her “causes headaches”) and defended Megyn Kelly and the Fox-Murdoch attack on Trump.
“I think you cannot have a president who is thin-skinned,” the former tech executive said. “If you think a question is tough, imagine the pressure of actually being in the Oval Office. And that’s why I think, as crazy as this presidential campaign process is, it does in fact give voters a window into how people respond under pressure, over time.” (CBS)
The big Republican money is on Bush, but the Koch brothers have even more money and they may be leaning slightly toward Marco Rubio. So the ticket might just be Marco and Carly. It’s up to the Koch’s. But zFacts is still betting on Jeb & Carly.
