“I intend to do everything I can to make certain she will be the next president of the United States.” Said when he endorsed her. However the easiest and most effective thing for him do would be to ask all of is supporters to vote for her. But he did not do this. Obviously since he didn’t do that he had no intention of doing everything he could do — that was a lie.
He has repeated this lie many, many times.
On April 8 he told us that “on her worst day [Clinton] would an infinitely better President than either of the Republican candidates [Watch him say it, Read about it].” On June 24 he said he would vote for Clinton, and “I will do everything I can to defeat Donald Trump.”
Bernie said five times, that Clinton was unqualified to be president (on April 6, 2016). How do we know this was a lie? Bernie told us. Five days later he said “of course” she was qualified and on her worst day she would be infinitely better than a Republican President. He was just mad because he had been caught in an interview with the New York Daily News, not understanding what it really meant to “break up the banks” and she referred to and agreed with that.
Seth Meyers: You made a comment about Hillary Clinton being unqualified for the office of President, is that something you regret saying?
Sanders: Well, It was said after she and her campaign said that I was unqualified.
Seth: I didn’t hear her say you were unqualified.
Bernie: Laughs, and changes the subject, “Well look the issue is …” (In fact Hillary never said that. Bernie just lied. See also MSNBC. This is what she actually said: “I don’t think you are qualified if you have voted for the disastrous war in Iraq. [politico]” and Bernie was well aware by this time.
Sanders pretended he had a path to victory long after he knew he didn’t because that’s how you rally voters. His objective, stated weeks ago, was to secure as many delegates as possible in order to leverage his influence at the convention. To that end, he campaigned aggressively through the California primary on June 7. —Salon

I think we have to absolutely rethink the role of superdelegates. I can’t give you a definitive answer, but we have to make that process far, far more democratic. The role of superdelegates, if any, should be discussed. I can’t give you a definitive answer. –-Time May 26, 2016
Lies by his supporter (but Not by Bernie)
Propaganda. So why would anyone who thinks they support Bernie turn against him on his most fundamental request for help with his revolution? Propaganda! Let me give one example that was sent to a progressive group I belong to by another member of that group, an “#AlwaysBernie #JillNotHill” supporter. Of course this person would never have passed on such highly deceptive propaganda had she understood the deceitful trick it is using.
It is a video clip from 2008 in which Clinton says: “I want the Iranians to know that if I’m the president we will attack Iran [The Real News].” It absolutely sounds like she means this unconditionally, and that’s what JillNotHill thought.
But here’s what Hillary’s actually said (put back in context).
“Well the question was, ‘If Iran were to launch a nuclear attack on Israel, what would our response be, and I want the Iranians to know that if I’m the president we will attack Iran
[see for yourself here].”
“The Real News” is a hyper-pro-Bernie website, but of course Bernie did not and would not approve such a deception. Neither would he answer such a question by saying, “I would like to assure Iran right now that we will not attack them even if the wipe out Israel.”
