Jill Stein
Baraka has said the senator from Vermont has a “commitment to Eurocentrism and normalized white supremacy.”
In their desperate attempt to defend Sanders and paint his critics as dogmatists and purists, the Sanders supporters have not only fallen into the ideological trap of a form of narrow “left” nativism, but also the white supremacist ethical contradiction that reinforces racist cynicism in which some lives are disposable for the greater good of the West.
And as much as the ‘Sandernistas ’ attempt to disarticulate Sanders “progressive” domestic policies from his documented support for empire (even the Obamaite aphorism “The perfect is the enemy of the good” is unashamedly deployed), it should be obvious that his campaign is an ideological prop – albeit from a center/left position – of the logic and interests of the capitalist-imperialist settler state. —Baraka

Do you consider ISIS a threat to the U.S. our to our allies in the Middle East, and how would you defeat it.
So, ya know, there are rules of engagement, international rules, that if you’re going to attack another country, you need to be at imminent threat of actually being attacked by them clearly that threshold has not been met. ISIS is not about to launch a major attack against our country. … The US is supplying the majority of the weapons to all combatants.

The answer to neofascism is stopping neoliberalism. Putting another Clinton in the White House will fan the flames of this right-wing extremism. We have known that for a long time ever since Nazi Germany. We are going to stand up to Donald Trump and to stand up to Hillary Clinton!
Ajamu Baraka, contributed an essay to a volume edited by Holocaust denier and 9/11 truther Kevin Barrett. The anthology’s title? Another False Flag? Bloody Tracks from Paris to San Bernadino. A veritable who’s who of bigots and conspiracy theorists, the book posits that the Charlie Hebdo attacks and many others were perpetrated by the CIA and Mossad.

On Tuesday, Comey said Clinton had been “extremely careless” in her handling of classified information but that her actions did not merit charges. The decision sparked outrage from Republican lawmakers, from Donald Trump and from Green Party nominee Jill Stein, who called for charges against Clinton, saying, “Hillary Clinton’s failure to protect critical security information is not the only thing in her tenure as Secretary that deserves the term reckless, including her decision to pursue catastrophic regime change in Libya, and to support the overthrow of democratically elected governments in Ukraine and Honduras.”

And of course she sides with “we helped foment a coup against a democratically-elected government, [resulting in a government] where ultra-nationalists and ex-Nazis came to power.”
There were many stories of Assad using chemical weapons against his own people (and he still does). Then on 21 Aug 2013, Assad kill nearly 1,500 in as nerve gas (sarin) attack on Ghouta (The Guardian). Assad said, he wouldn’t do that, “if such weapons exist,” and then later handed over 600 tons of chemical weapons. The EU, the US, Human Rights Watch all tracked the direction embedded nerve-gas rockets back to two Syrian military bases (BBC).
Wikipedia notes that, “The Syrian and Russian governments blamed the opposition for the attack, the Russian government calling the attack a false flag operation.” The theory is that the rebels gassed their own people and set it up to look like Assad did it.
Jill Stein also called the Ghouta gas attack a “false flag” chemical weapons attack. She later tried to scrub this interview off the internet, but one website managed to dig up a copy and you can hear here false-flag claim at minute 24:46.
Three quarters of Jill Stein’s five-million supporters lean Democratic. If this holds, voting for Stein instead of Clinton knock 3% of Clinton’s vote total, which could easily throw the election to Trump. Of course those Sanders’ supporters are well meaning and don’t want that outcome. Here are some facts that might help convince Stein supporters they are on the wrong track.
Not only does her VP choice call the Sanders campaign “an ideological prop [for] the logic and interests of the capitalist-imperialist settler state,” he also says the beloved Senator has a commitment to a “normalized white supremacy.”
Stein herself seems committed to Vladimir Putin and RT (Russian Times) TV. s 10th anniversary gala in Moscow, the Russian Green Party knows a bit more about Jill:
“How is it possible to have a discussion with Mr. Putin and not mention, not even once, the fate of Russian political prisoners, or the attacks against Russian journalists, artists, and environmentalists? Is it fair to speak with him about ‘geopolitics’ and not mention new Russian laws against freedom of speech, restrictions on NGOs and activists, or the shameful law that forbids ‘homosexual propaganda’?” —Chirikova and Kutepova
These questions are from the two leading Green-Party activists who have had to
These are difficult questions since RT is know as Russian premiere vehicle for international propaganda, Russia itself is, of course, no longer communist/socialist but is now considered “gangster capitalist” even by the very socialist journal Monthly Review. And Putin, of course, is an ex-KBG (secret police) agent.
Why is Jill Stein mixed up with the worst of all capitalists? And, not only did she attend RT TV’s Moscow gala, she also attended one in New York.
Jill Stein can sounds more like a socialist then Bernie, especially with her anti-American, pro-Putin stance. But she and her VP choice, Baraka, seem to have forgotten that Russia is no longer “socialist” and is now considered to be “gangster capitalist” even by the very socialist journal Monthly Review. And Putin, of course, is an ex-KBG (secret police) agent.
Baraka explains their view of Sanders followers: “As the ‘Sandernistas’ attempt to disarticulate Sanders “progressive” domestic policies from his documented support for empire … it should be obvious that his campaign is an ideological prop … of the logic and interests of the capitalist-imperialist settler state.”
Clearly, Baraka, and Jill who picked him, are just an old-fashioned “communists” who consider Sanders to be “capitalist-imperialists.” They are not democratic socialists, and voting for them will just give the left a black eye.
is more of a socialist than Bernie, but an anti-democratic socialist. She sides with Gaddafi, Assad, the ex-Russian puppet in the Ukraine, and Vladimir Putin. In each case she ignores or condemns the local democratic movements. Let’s take a look.
Gaddafi was a notoriously brutal dictator, yet Libyans rose up peacefully. Gaddafi attacked and they counter attacked. But eventually Gaddafi’s army was on it’s way to Benghazi a city of a million and the center of the pro-democracy revolution. He had threatened to slaughter Benghazi’s population “like rats.” The rebel leaders pleaded for Western intervention, including a no-fly zone. The 22-nation Arab League requested it and the UN approved it. But not Jill Stein.
The European intervention was short took no casualties, and did not try not interfere once Gaddafi was stopped. But factionalism and ISIS have lead led to a dismal situation. So why does Jill Stein think we should have let Gaddafi slaughter the Benghazi’s like rats, as he surely would have?
Jill Stein is simply sure that any American intervention is evil. So if we help stop Gaddafi from slaughtering a pro-democracy movement, she sides with the brutal dictator.
Syria. George Bush used Syria for “rendition” when they wanted people tortured (PBS). In Aug. 2013, a military defector smuggled 53,275 photographs out of Syria, showing at least 6,786 detainees who died in Syrian government detention facilities. Human Rights Watch found evidence of widespread torture and starvation. (Amnesty International.)

Russia. That Jill Stein was repeating Russian propaganda is no coincidence. She is in thick with RT News, wholly owned by the Russian government and controlled, of course, by Putin. RT (Russia Today) was conceived and created largely by Mikhail Lesin in 2005. In 2014 Lesin fell out of favor with Putin and was forced to resign from the Putin-controlled GazProm-Media. He moved to the US and was found dead in his hotel room in 2015, due to blunt force injuries to his head (also neck, torso, arms and legs).
Jill Stein attended 10th anniversary gala for RT News in both New York and Moscow. In Moscow she sat at the head table with Putin and with Trumps national security advisor, Michael Flynn. While in Moscow she made a video praising Russia for human rights.
Jill, for goodness sake, just google “russia human rights” and read the lead paragraph of the 2016 Human Rights Watch report:
The Kremlin’s crackdown on civil society, media, and the Internet took a more sinister turn in 2015 as the government further intensified harassment and persecution of independent critics. … anti-Western hysteria has been at its peak since the end of the Cold War.
“Coming to you from Red Square in Moscow” she notes that we “need to rein in US exceptionalism, and totally reform and revise our foreign policy so that it is based on international law, human rights and diplomacy.””
Conclusion
So why are Stein and Putin so lovey dovey? The easy puzzle is why should Putin care about a candidate that won’t even get one electoral college vote? Has he turned into a green peacenik? Hardly. But he’s hugely concerned that Trump beat Clinton. And increasing Jill importance in the eyes of the left fringe is about the cheapest way of taking votes from Clinton.
But why does a socialist peace candidate go for an aggressive gangster capitalist like Putin. Some socialists used to defend Russia because they thought it had a socialist economic system. But even by 1986 Bernie was referring to the “totalitarianism of the Soviet Union.” And now that Russia has (1) gone capitalist, (2) had it capitalism taken over the oligarchs (super monopolists) and (3) had the oligarchs taken over by Putin and his thugs, there is no government Bernie would hate more. Bernie at least knows the difference between socialism and capitalism.
So what’s with Jill? Obviously she has no idea what socialism means or that Russia is no longer communist. She’s just anti-American. She not even anti-corporatist, since monster Russian corporations are fine. She just hates American corporations.
The Bottom Line
There are two reasons not to vote for Jill Stein. First, that helps Trump and Putin, as Putin knows so well. Second, there is nothing worse for the progressive movement, or even for Bernie’s revolution than to tie them to a pure anti-American, pro-gangster-capitalism ideology.
In 2000, shortly after Putin was inaugurated as Russia’s president, government security forces arrived at the offices of the parent company of NTV, an independent channel generating high ratings for its investigative reporting, and began seizing documents. The authorities chalked the raid up to a business dispute, claiming that NTV’s owner, media mogul Vladimir Gusinsky, owed his creditors $300 million and wouldn’t pay them back. State-controlled Gazprom-Media took over the channel less than a year later. While NTV is still one of Russia’s biggest channels, it has been politically neutered and now hews closely to the Kremlin’s viewpoint. Atlantic
Dozhd is the only remaining television channel in Russia that presents a non-governmental perspective on politics and public life.
